Black Striped Agate is a variety of Chalcedony from the Quartz family, with a solid black colour tone and distinct white patterning, varying in tone from sharp whites to deeper brown hues. Agate is excellent for balancing emotional, physical and intellectual energy and its cleansing properties. These beads measure approximately 6mm in diameter with a threading hole size of 1mm and are supplied as a 16" strand. Please note that due to the nature of the material, each strand is unique so colours will vary and slight natural inclusions are sometimes faintly visible. Care: As with all gemstones, care must be taken. It is not advised to place agate stones in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Agate can be easily cleaned with a warm soapy water mix or an untreated cloth.
