If you’re looking for the latter, whether it’s a console title or a classic Kaszinó game then here are some great games to play this Christmas.
Grand Theft Auto V
Despite being more than seven years old, Grand Theft Auto V is still one of the most popular online games, and with good reason. As well as the endless options available to you in the singleplayer mode, the multiplayer functionality, which is known as Grand Theft Auto Online, is continually updated by Rockstar.
Over the years, it has added the heist missions, vehicle parkour, the Diamond Casino & Resort, and single-seater racing, as well as many other new features.
Start playing Grand Theft Auto V before Christmas and you’ll have plenty of fun way into the New Year.
Book of Dead
Modern online casinos offer hundreds, if not thousands, of different games for their players to enjoy. Of course, there are all of the classic card and table games, including blackjack, poker, baccarat, craps, and roulette, but some of the most popular choices are slot games.
Fashioned after the original one-armed bandits, online video slots can offer much more variety to players with unique bonus rounds and huge progressive jackpots.
One of the most popular video slot games is Book of Dead. This Play’n Go game first hit the market in early 2016, offering a return to player rate of around 96.21%. It uses a 5x3 layout with 10 paylines.
The game is the sequel to Aztec Idols, a 2012 slot game that first featured the character, Rich Wilde. Book of Dead is themed around Ancient Egypt and seems to be inspired by the Novomatic game Book of Ra.
Mini Motorways
If you enjoy puzzles but want something a little different, then Mini Motorways is a great option. Released by Dinosaur Polo Club, the game follows a similar format to the popular Mini Metro.
However, instead of building a metropolitan train network, your task is to design a road system to help cars get from their houses to colour-coded shopping malls.
Like in Mini Metro, you have a range of real-life cities to choose from, including London, Paris, and New York. Additionally, the game is split into weeks. At the end of each week, you’ll be given more road tiles and the option to choose from a number of other items, including a motorway, extra roads, or traffic lights.
As more buildings pop up, you will be required to build an ever-more convoluted network that eventually becomes unable to cope with the volume of traffic. Once one of the malls becomes overcrowded with people, the games over.
Mini Motorways is fun thanks to its simplicity over transport simulators like Transport Tycoon or Sim City which require you to manage profit and loss.
Choosing any of these games will lead to hours of fun this Christmas.
