Annual Maintenance

WHAT DOES A SERVICE ENTAIL? When our engineers carry out an annual service on all your roller shutters they will carry out an actual service of all your shutters parts and components, not just a visual inspection. We would check the following when servicing your roller shutters: ? Check that all end-locks are secure and intact ? Check that there is no lateral movement in the shutter curtain ? Check that the bottom rail is secure ? Check that the guides are securely fixed and guide aperture is sufficient ? Thoroughly remove any existing grease and dirt from the shutter, then lightly grease the guides ? Check that the brackets are fixed securely and lubricate if required ? Remove all of the shutters hood/cover to gain access to the working mechanisms on each Roller Shutter, then re-fit once complete. (Only if this is possible) ? Check that the case fixings are secure and intact ? Check the top & bottom limits on all Electric Roller Shutters (adjust if necessary) ? Check all locking mechanisms (e.g. Pin Locks, Centre Locks) ? Check all of the operating controls to ensure that they are functioning correctly and working Remember we carry out an actual service on your roller shutters, not a visual inspection
