HSE Law Poster Semi-Rigid

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has decided that the current version of the poster should be revised. A thumbnail of the new poster is attached for your information. Standard and semi-rigid formats of the new poster will be available for despatch from our warehouse in early April.All businesses are required to display a copy of the Law poster, or alternatively, provide each member of staff with a personal copy of the poster in leaflet format (details to follow). Businesses can continue to display the current version of the Law poster for a period of 5 years effective from the date of introduction of the new version. There is consequently no immediate requirement for businesses to purchase the new poster. This point will be emphasised in HSE discussions with trade associations representing small businesses, in promotional activity and on the HSE web site. The new poster will:1. embody the Royal Coat of Arms. This means that it can only be reproduced by Crown bodies; and2. be produced using environmentally friendly materials; and3. incorporate unique security features involving hologram technology; and4. be serially numbered; and5. continue to be priced at £6.38 + VAT for the standard format (ISBN 978 0 7176 6314 9) and £10.22 + VAT for the semi-rigid version (ISBN 978 0 7176 6339 2) despite increased material, production and distribution costs.
