T-glase is a versatile 3D printing filament made of FDA-approved polymers suitable for direct food contact. It has low shrinkage and is easy to print on acrylic, glass, Kapton, and other platforms. T-glase has no odors or fumes during printing and is considered colorless and "water clear". However, its low glass transition temperature means parts printed in t-glase should not be exposed to high-temperature applications. The company is accumulating data on its strength and working on providing documentation for FDA-related requirements. Though not biodegradable like PLA, t-glase is 100% reclaimable and can be mixed with discarded clear water bottles for reuse.
