When it comes to choosing the right water hose, it really depends on the environment you’re working in. But, as most water hoses will be used outdoors in gardens, agricultural environments or on construction sites, it’s worth avoiding cheaper options that will tend to crack after only a year of changing seasons, varying pressures and abrasive conditions and instead investing in something that will hold up and last you much longer. To help you find the right one for you, we’ve outlined the key advantages of two of our specially designed and manufactured water hoses below, as well as our hose guard. Triflex 2000 Water Hose For general water delivery, the Triflex 2000 Water Hose is a perfect solution. Carefully constructed using three bonded layers that work together to provide flexibility, strength and resistance, it is a supremely flexible and resilient hose that performs well under considerable working pressure. The three bonded layers are key to the high performance of this hose. The inner layer of soft and flexible PVC is what gives the hose excellent flexibility, while a middle layer of polyester spiral yarn strengthens the hose. The high quality PVC outer cover provides a secure bond as well as ozone, abrasion and UV resistance, making it an ideal hose for outdoor use. This hose is available in a selection of internal diameters and in 25m or 50m coils. Our customers have used the Triflex 2000 across a number of industries, including agriculture, construction, sports, and horticulture. Fluted Water Hose Created with a toughened exterior, this extremely strong and durable water hose is a popular solution for heavier duty applications, such as for use on agricultural land and construction sites. It provides excellent grip and withstands abrasion. Yet, despite its tough exterior, it doesn’t compromise on flexibility and has high kink resistance. Manufactured from two layers of PVC nitrile compound that are heat and chemically bonded with a third layer of tough polyester construction, this is an incredibly durable hose that has impressive working pressures and continues working well in high and low temperatures. It also features exterior longitudinal fluting to prevent kinking and assist with abrasion resistance. It is typically available in lengths of 40m and 100m, however we are able to manufacture custom orders should you require a different length. Spiral Cut Hose Guard When using hoses in really abrasive working conditions, it’s often worth investing in additional protection to extend the life of your equipment and protect your hose from wear, tear and accidental damage. Manufactured from durable nylon 12 polymer, our Spiral Cut Hose Guard is an ideal solution. It creates a highly durable outer layer that’s designed to deflect abrasion and impact. It’s also resistant to chemical corrosion - making it safe to use around oil, petrol or dilute acids. It fits hoses of all sizes and is therefore suitable for existing hoses or one of the hoses mentioned above. Simply wrap the hose or thread it through the guard. It comes in a range of sizes and in lengths of 50m, however we are able to create bespoke orders to meet any specific requirements.
