Stitched Cotton Mops

Cotton polishing wheel mops, stitched. Applications: Stitched cotton mops are the most common polishing mop used for bright or mirror polishing and for returning a lightly damaged surface back to a bright, 'mirror' polished finish. They are for use with polishing compounds. Typically PV102 (Pink) is used for final polishing. You may also prefer to have a separate mop for the slightly more aggressive PV101 (green) polish as part of a polishing system.Product Notes: Diameter used relates closely to the machine / tooling used. Recommended mop size for the machine:Machine Type Recommended Maximum DiameterHand drills: 75-100mm maxStraight grinders (collet): 150mm maxStraight grinder (M14): 200mm maxBench grinders: No larger than the largest specified grinding wheel, commonly 150mm.Spindle polishers: Small bench mounted machines, normally 200mm maximumFloor standing polishers: Larger diameters regularly used, most commonly 250mm diameter. Please note that the above are recommended specifications only please refer to machine suppliers specifications for their maximum disc / wheel diameters. The traditional method of measuring polishing mop widths is in 'sections'. One section is approximately 1/2" in width
