Flap Wheels For Stationary Machines - Cloth

These flap wheels are for stationary rotating shaft machines such as bench grinders and polishing mills, where the component can be safely held to the wheel by hand. They can also be used on a suitable shaft on lathes. They should be secured with suitable clamping flanges. The cloth flaps give a gentle grinding action with minimal heat. Coarser grades will gently remove metal, round edges and shape wood. Medium grades are ideal for de-burring, removing cut marks and deeper scratches and cleaning coatings. Finer grades will leave bright finish on metal and a smooth surface on wood.
