Knife Maker Belt Sets

We have compiled mixed grade sets of belts to meet the need of special purpose knife craft belt grinders.

These sets contain abrasive belts for knife making from grinding through to polishing. They fit the 2" wide, 4' and 6' long, requirements for many of the American based knife craft belt grinders. The sets include 2 of each of 5 grades, starting at grade 80 up to 1,200 grade in sensible steps to remove the grind marks from the previous grade. Grade 1200 (Trizact^TM A30) is a fine satin finish which can be readily polished up to a mirror finish if required. The chosen abrasives are suitable for hardened and stainless steels.

Specification (Improved)

• 2 each x 5 grades, 10 belts per set.
• All belts are now either ceramic abrasive or Trizact^TM 237.
• Grade 80 in heavy duty top coated ceramic abrasive.
• Grades 180 and 320 in flexible top coated ceramic abrasive.
• Grades 600 (A30) and 1200 (A16) made with Trizact^TM 237 (synthetic abrasive).
• Quality angled, ground, taped and cured joints for strength and smooth running.
• Belts manufactured by Cibo Abrasives of Belgium.
