Performance Power-File Belts -Ceramic

We stock belts for most powerfiles and finger files. As these belts have a low material content due to being narrow, we use the best abrasive available for the grade. We thus standardise on ceramic abrasive, which is now available right down to grade 400. This make our range of power-file belts high performance on almost any metal, including stainless steel. They will also give much longer life than ordinary aluminium oxide or zirconium belts on metal. They are also highly effective on wood and fillers.

Specification:

• Ceramic abrasive now standard on all sizes.
• Heavy duty polyester X-weight backing on coarser grades 36-120.
• Flexible F-weight poly-cotton backing on finer grades 180-400.
• Well made ground, angled and taped joints for strength and smooth running.
• Packed in 20s

Other Sizes & Grades: If you do not see the size or grade you require, we can usually have them made to order. Min order quantity is usually just 100 belts (5 packs) per grade. Ceramic abrasive is now available as fine as grade 400. Other abrasives are available for special applications, eg silicon carbide for use on plastics or GRP. Please enquire.
