Surface Conditioning Grip Discs

Surface conditioning discs are made with non-woven abrasive which is conformable, durable and resists loading. It is ideal for metal surface preparation, especially on stainless steel. The coarse grade will clean off light coatings, rust and surface contamination, as well as blend scratches. The very fine grade will remove light scratches and leave a bright finish. Use on a suitable deep-hook backing pad on a rotary polisher. We stock these discs with a 10mm centre hole which helps correctly centre them on the backing pads we stock with a low central stud to help minimise vibration.

Specification:

• Abrasive grain suspended in a non-woven fleece with resin.
• Grip (loop) backing for use on a suitable deep-hook backing pad.
• Choose coarse (brown), medium (maroon) or very fine (blue-grey).
• Approx P grades: Coarse 150-180. Medium 240-280. V Fine 320-360.
• Can be used wet or dry.
• Sold in packs of 20 discs.
