Unitised Socatt Discs

Unitised discs are ideal for refining metal surfaces. Harder grades will remove weld splatter and burrs, softer grades will brighten and leave a pre-polished finish.

Unitised discs can be used as part of a system to grind and polish a weld, for example. They can be used after zirconium or ceramic Socatt discs have removed the weld and can take out fine grind marks and leave a pre-polished finish.

Use grade SA7 for light metal removal, grade SA5 for brightening and polishing.

Specification:

• Made with unitised (reprocessed non-woven) abrasive.
• Socatt metal internally threaded fixing.
• 6mm thickness for long life.
• Max Speeds: 50mm - 18,000 rpm, 75mm - 12,000rpm
