Humidity

Humidity calibration is carried out in a Sanyo MBW 473W Dew Point Hygrometer humidity chamber with a GE chilled mirror sensor and platinum resistance thermometers. Smaller sensors can also be calibrated in our Rotronic HygroGen 2 humidity and temperature generator which gives an accuratley controlled environment and the readings are taken with an MB3 473 high performance chilled mirror hygrometer. The range of measurements is from 5% to 98% rh within a temperature calibration range of 10°C to 85°C. The measurement uncertainty is from 2% rh for temperatures below 50°C and from 2.5% for temperatures above 50°C.
