Ball screws that have been cold rolled formed are ideal for applications that do not require the finite accuracy of the ground ball screw equivalents, but are still required to reliably transmit a linear load with high degree of accuracy.
Put simply, the rolling process forms a thread for less cost than grinding. However, we can still achieve accuracies of C7-20 (that's 52 microns per 300mm of lead accuracy - 20 microns of axial backlash).We have 30 years of experience in ball screws, to help guide you through the selection process to ensure the right part is chosen for the application. In a nut shell, the rolled ball screw ranges encompass;
•Precision rolled
•Low cost
•Lengths up to 3000mm
•Precision C7-20
•Lead accuracy .007mm/300mm or better
•4mm to 15mm diameter screws
•Wide selection of leads and pitches available per diameter
•Miniature precision ranges
•Industrial heavy duty ranges
•Flanged, cylindrical and end threaded ball nut designs
•All parts can be supplied with journal ends machined and ready to fit application
•All Ball screws can be supplied with integrated radial and thrust bearings mounts
•ISO9001 approved
