At Adams Gas we pride ourselves on providing the ultimate service for our customers. Whether it’s through providing high quality products, such as our welding gas, or offering our tip-top tips on how to make the most of your purchase, we love being able to help.
As such, with autumn well and truly upon us, we thought we would celebrate in style! Many people think that just because the sunnier weather has abandoned us, that we should sit inside reminiscing of warmer times... well, not us; we’re off out for a barbecue! So, why not join us, with these handy tips!
Keep Warm
OK, we might be bold, but we’re not stupid! Even when it’s sunny it can still be nippy at this time of year - even more so at night – so wrap up warm! Make sure you add a couple of extra layers to enable you to enjoy spending time outside, basking in the warm embrace of the barbie. Also, don’t forget to put on a hat and gloves, as well as an extra pair of socks; once your extremities get chilly, then the whole of you begins to feel it.
Warm Drinks
Just because you’re having a barbecue, typically synonymous with beer and the odd glass of wine, doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t have warm drinks. Maybe mix it up with a bit of mulled wine or an Irish coffee if you have to have a tipple. Alternatively, you can’t go far wrong with a lovely cup of tea!
Utilise the Lid
Barbecues spend a lot of their time open in summer. It’s great being able to watch your food sizzle away, and the smell is enough to make you drool, but in winter the outside climate isn’t quite as conducive to keeping the food at temperature. Bare this in mind and put a lid on it!
If all else fails, enjoy your food inside! There’s no rule saying you have to stick it out if the weather gets too much; after all, it’s all about the grub! If you like the sound of this winter barbecue malarkey and are in need of gas, then give us a shout. You can get in touch with our team by contacting us on 0800 195 4445, where we are always eagerly awaiting the opportunity to give you the excellent Adams Gas customer service... particularly when there’s food involved!
