Adept Power Solutions (APS) is commemorating its 20th anniversary! Founded in 2003 by Iain and Julia Mackay, the company has evolved from a modest startup into a prominent provider of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) & Generator Solutions.

The Early Days Recognizing the demand for a customer-centric approach in the backup power industry, our founders established the company in Andover, Hampshire. With a dedicated team of engineers and technicians, they swiftly devised innovative solutions that catered to the needs of their clients and partners.

APS has since expanded its product range and customer base, covering the entirety of mainland UK and undertaking projects across diverse regions of Europe. Today, APS serves thousands of customers across various sectors, from expansive data centers to retail and medical industries.

2005 - APS introduced its first in-house product, a diverse selection of external Wall Mounted Maintenance Bypass Switches.

2006 - Adept Power Solutions became an authorized partner for Riello UPS.

2008 - APS demonstrated its commitment to the environment and received its first ISO14001 Certificate of Approval.

2009 - APS launched an innovative line of Rack Mounted Maintenance Bypass Switches.

2011 - APS initiated a highly successful electrical engineering Apprenticeship program.

2013 - APS partnered with Intellibat (Canara) to provide battery cell monitoring services to UK Data Centers.

2014 - APS earned authorization as a Select Partner for APC, one of the world's leading UPS manufacturers.

2015 - The company unveiled its pioneering monitoring service, ARM (Adept Remote Monitoring), for UPS & Generators, setting a new industry standard.

2016 - APS became an authorized Service partner for Riello UPS.

2018 - APS reaffirmed its commitment to Andover by signing a long-term lease for its 9,000 sq ft Head Office.

2022 - APS became an authorized Eaton UPS Partner, solidifying its position as a premier provider of backup power solutions.

2023 - Now, in 2023, the company celebrates its remarkable 20th anniversary!
