Soundproofing and Sound Absorption All In One
u require the one product that does it all we have the answer. Our Silent Panels are a self-adhesive backed composite acoustic panel. It is made up of a Soundproofing Mat laminated to fire-resistant Class '0' Acoustic Panel. Now it is possible to have acoustic treatment and soundproofing in one versatile product.
The Silent Panel Acoustic Panel is a composite panel comprised of Soundproofing Mat and Class 0 Acoustic Foam. The panels come with a self-adhesive backing so they are quick, easy and clean to install. The product is suitable for a wide range of applications but is most suited for lining enclosures for encasing noisy equipment such as compressors and generators. These acoustic panels can also be used to line the walls and ceilings of plant rooms and mechanical rooms to absorb the noise generated as well as reduce noise transmission. This product will enable you to reduce reverb by giving you effective sound absorption and will reduce sound transmission to outside the enclosure.
These panels are black in colour and are supplied in 600x 1200mm sheets and there are currently three product options available.
The thinnest version we offer is the 5/25 Silent Panel which is 28mm thick and is made up of 2mm thick, 5kg Soundproofing Mat laminated to 25mm thick Class '0' Acoustic Foam. The panel has an NRC of 0.45 and a sound reduction index of 31dB.
The next version we have available is the 5/50 Silent Panel which is a 53mm thick panel and is made up of 2mm thick, 5kg Soundproofing Mat bonded to 50mm thick Class '0' Acoustic Foam. The panel has an NRC of 0.75 and a sound reduction index of 30dB.
The third version we have available is the 10/50 Silent Panel which is a 56mm thick acoustic panel made up of 5mm thick, 10kg Soundproofing Mat laminated to 50mm thick Class '0' Acoustic Foam. The panels have an NRC of 0.75 and a sound reduction index of 36dB.
The self-adhesive backing we use is very strong and can support the weight of the panels, even when installed on the ceiling. They can be mounted to metal, wood, plaster and plastic and can be mechanically fixed of preferred. The panels are easily trimmed to size if required with a sharp utility knife.
