Center Rewinders

Pure center winders usually are used on lighter grades, which are wound at lighter tensions and to smaller roll diameters. They are usually used for extensible materials, center rewinder can be a (simplex) single-position or continuous-operation turret winder, they can be (duplex) double shaft and can be a shafted or shaftless operation. These type of machine are extremely flexible and versatile product can be pure centre rewound where the winding torque is applied through the core shaft, the can have the facility for gap or contact winding via contact (lay on rollers), which control amount of air being rewound into roll and effecting finished roll hardness.
