B-Matic: Our New Strategic Partner

Advanced Dynamics have been working closely with B-Matic Spa of Bologna, Italy, over the last few months to set up the UK distributorship from their head office in Bradford, West Yorkshire. However it was at IPEX 2010, the print industry's major UK and international showcase, that the partnership was officially launched. B-Matic, a company who specialize in the manufacture of sheet counting equipment is run by the charismatic Sergio Bertasi, the company owner and inventor of the unique “Twin-Vacuum” system at the heart of all their equipment’s success. A system that is simple, rugged and reliable and, most importantly, causes no damage whatsoever to the substrate being counted. With additional support from the sales manager Fulvio Lelli, a rare Italian who lives and breathes rugby, the relationship between the two companies has quickly grown with a trust and professional respect to ensure a long lasting and successful partnership. The equipment range starts with the tab inserter that operates in conjunction with printing, embossing and converting equipment to provide a simple and cost effective batch quantity indicating facility on palletised sheets. The Protec range of counters provides accurate and reliable sheet counting, crucially, with no deformation of the material being counted. The Protec range covers bench and floor mounted machinery that covers a size range from A6 – A1 with a sheet thickness capacity from 40 to 800gsm. The handling of the larger sheets on the CT3 machine is assisted by an air table. Finally, for automated lines the range of pack movers provides the same accurate counting facility but then provides a finished pack for transfer onwards to either a wrapping system and guillotine etc. The systems operate with the same thickness range and sheet sizes from A4 to A1 can be accommodated.
