DYNAMICS’ DOUBLE DECADE OF DOING SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT

Advanced Dynamics Ltd, trusted supplier to the packaging industry, is celebrating 20 years in business - a period that Managing Director Malcolm Little admits has not always been plain sailing but full of experiences that have ultimately shaped the ongoing success story of the company. Focusing on a personal approach to doing business is part and parcel of the company’s simple philosophy of putting the customer’s needs first. Advanced Dynamics does not claim to offer the cheapest packaging solutions but certainly believes that it offers the most in-depth and insightful service and support. This ethos is at the heart of everything the business does, supported by an impressive array of fillers, labellers, wrappers, sleevers and cappers since becoming the sole UK distributor of Pack Leader Group’s portfolio of specialist solutions for industries such as food, drinks, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, toiletries and other related sectors. More recently, Advanced Dynamics has also extended its expertise into new sectors such as the brewing and vaping industries with innovative and versatile equipment engineered for those markets. Marking its two decades in the industry, Advanced Dynamics celebrated with an Open Day at which it showcased newly extended premises: doubling its engineering capacity to around 10,000sq ft with a dedicated high-tech centre for product development and servicing capabilities. Sales and admin facilities were also refurbished, along with an extended demonstration area, meeting rooms and conference facilities. Malcolm Little says the facility has been modernised to operate much like a state-of-the-art Formula One Racing Car factory – slick, clean and tuned to perfection – to portray the company’s vision of partnerships with customers that share the same values. Renowned in the industry for his dapper suits, Malcolm added: “We have always aimed to stand out from the crowd. Anyone can supply a machine with all the bells and whistles but can they provide an all-round experience like us? We offer something completely different: a genuine partnership that enables customers not only to maximise their productivity but also to grow and develop as they need to, supported by equipment and a team that they can trust.” Automated solutions improve production efficiency, quality and costs. Located close to the M62 within four hours of most parts of the country, Advanced Dynamics’ team of dedicated engineers can be dispatched quickly, whilst a customer care department deals promptly with enquiries. Investing in its workforce, expanding its equipment portfolio and most of all enhancing customer relations are all integrated in the company’s strategy for growth. Last word goes to Malcolm: “The last 20 years have been like pulling a sledge. You start by having the courage and resilience to put your best foot forward to get moving so that you can put more people on the sledge, then down the line you realise that you have inspired people to get off the sledge and pull it with you, that’s a great feeling. I have also learned that whilst adversity is never good, it is a solid life-lesson: the tough times make you a better MD.”
