Polycarbonate

Polycarbonate(PC) is a high impact material that is ridged by nature and has excellent optical clarity although other colours are available. They can be supplied in various sheet sizes including 2440mm x 1220mm , 2050mm x 1250mm and 3050mm x 2050mm. Various thicknesses are available between 1mm and 12mm.Polycarbonate sheet Polycarbonate is dimensional stable which allows for high machining precision and can easily be welded, bonded or formed. Polycarbonate provides good electrical insulation and has food working temperatures of – 40°c through to +130°c. It also has good chemical resistance to oils and dilute acids and alkalis. If preferred it can be supplied with UV stabilizer to provide good weathering properties and increased resistance to the ozone.
