SRBP

Paper Based laminates are predominantly used and converted for the Electrical/Electronics industry, a composite material made of paper impregnated with a plasticized phenol formaldehyde resin, SRBP (Synthetic Resin Bonded Paper) is available in a variety of grades, from commercial to high-spec grades in rod, sheet and tube. It has good/Excellent electrical strength which remains the case whilst in air or immersed in Oil. Additives can be used to change the materials characteristics i.e. to make them flame retardant or static dissipative , materials such as rubber or P.T.F.E. can also be bonded to the original material to improve durability or to lower the coefficient of friction Mechanical properties are good including low water absorption and high insulation resistance (Di-electric strength) Typical used include; • Busbar supports • Insulating sleeves, bushes and spacers • High voltage insulation • Terminal boards • Coil formers • Mechanical uses • Non-Hygroscopic
