Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd are a leading manufacturer of Vulcanised Fibre products within the UK. We are able to offer our customers a full bespoke product and service. Vulcanised fibre is manufactured from plies of paper that are passed through zinc chloride and are then pressed together to produce a chemically pure product. More than 99% of the finished product is Cellulose so that this means there are no glues or binders.Vulcanised Fibre Vulcanised fibre has excellent properties such as: • Excellent mechanical strength • Resistance to heat and cold • Light weight • Excellent electrical properties • Resistant to mineral oils, petrol, greases and solvents • Non degrading in sunlight exposure All of these excellent attributes means that this material can be used in a wide variety of industries and application such as electrical appliances, electrical instruments, fuse boards, electrical motors, circuit breakers and automotive applications.
