Mezzanine Solution Doubles Storage Space UK Warehouse Distribution Centre, Gloucestershire This Gloucestershire Warehousing Distribution Centre needed to double its storage space and chose Advantage to project manage and complete the job. Advantage installed a large 1100m2 storage mezzanine which stretched over the entire building, doubling the space for this warehouse facility and allowing stock to be stored at one location, rather than at costly external storage facilities. We installed one-hour fire protection and a protected means of escape to comply with Building Regulations, together with general lighting, emergency lighting and smoke detection to the ground floor. Since forklifts would be working in the goods in and out pallet gate areas, column guards were installed to the exposed columns.
