Exhaust Jacketing Kit Replacement for CAT 3516

Agriemach were recently commissioned to provide full replacement thermal jacket kits for a selection of CAT 3516 engines where the existing insulation had deteriorated and failed. The customer sent us the original used thermal jackets which we took and created patterns for, enabling us to recreate the exact sizing of the jackets but improve them by using superior material for the job. The upgraded specification we used for this application was a Stainless Steel Silicone Glass Fabric Outer material with Stainless Steel Knitwire and Silicone Inner, encasing a 50mm (96kg) Ceramic Blanket with Stainless Steel Lacing and Anchors. This specification offered our customer peace of mind when operating in the region of 550°c and ensured longevity and durability. We offer a full service for the design and manufacture of bespoke heat insulation materials and offer a comprehensive range of options. We are also able to include sound deadening combined with high temperature insulation for noise sensitive applications.
