CALIBRATION Our calibration department is fully equipped with the latest in torque measurement equipment all traceable to UKAS. We have the capability to calibrate air tools and torque wrenches up to 1000Nm. We are able to offer a calibration re-call service – tools are regularly checked as per your quality requirements. We provide you with a yearly planner, automatic re-call up to 2 weeks before the tool reaches its due date, arrange collection or an on-site visit to carry out the calibration and issue a calibration certificate showing the results of the test. Tools are clearly marked using our own system so that it makes it easy to spot non-conforming tools on the production line. This complete service means you have one less thing to worry about. PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE (PM) When tools are critical to production flow it is essential that they perform at their optimum when required. What is a critical tool? Without it production may be stopped and/ or quality is compromised. Our PM service is available to all our customers with critical tooling needs. The PM program ensures that the tooling you regard as critical is kept operational. Regular planned maintenance can help extend the life of your tools and keep downtime to a minimum. A PM program can be tailored to fall in with your production schedule. This ensures your tooling always performs with the optimum results. HAVS ASSESSMENT With new HSE guidelines coming into force from 4th July it is now even more important to acknowledge the cause and effect of HAVS (Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome) and to show a duty of care in alleviating and improving the working conditions/tooling/method. Exposure vibration can only be determined by on-site testing for accuracy and to give you the best possible insight into individual requirements. We offer a variable on-site testing service* which can include certification, reports and recommendations, carried out and compiled by IOSH certified engineers, using the preferred triaxial measurement method. We can also provide advice on health surveillance programmes etc. *In-house HAV testing in accordance with ISO8662 is available as an optional extra following a repair or service
