AMI Marine offer a fantastic training course here at our Southampton office. Our dedicated training centre has hosted trainees from around the world! Last week we hosted engineers from The Netherlands, Brazil and the Faroe Islands. The training focuses on our key AMI products the SVDR and VDR Systems. The training also covers an overview on other AMI equipment. This includes installation and setup, fault finding and resolving problems, Annual Surveys. Also with a full understanding of the AMI software. Once engineers complete the training they are certified to carry out servicing and repair work on AMI equipment. Therefore they can work back in their home country. Also they can join our ‘Engineer Task Force’. (International Emergency Response Engineers) This is a unique group of trusted and brilliant engineers. They are poised and ready to travel. Anywhere in the world. They carry out emergency and time dependant service and repair work. Engineers are selected carefully. They are also trained to service all other major brand equipment. Because of this we can offer servicing across all major brands too. The engineers make up our worldwide network of global engineers. Because of this we offer global solutions for your ship management needs. Engineer Training with AMI Marine IS THIS TRAINING FOR YOU? AMI provide training courses designed for qualified marine electronic engineers. They can have little or no experience working on AMI products. The standard training course lasts three full days. More than that, this is available to private and company engineers looking to get the most out of AMI products
