LanTech Case Packer (Top Loader) RCP-2

Erecting and moving a case into the loading position occurs in the same way as in the Side Loader. When the case is in position, the centering frame is activated. The collated product is moved onto two horizontal sliding plates (bomb doors) above the case. The Pick & Place head then picks up the collated product, lifts it clear of the bomb doors, which then open and the Pick & Place head moves the iem down into the erected case. As an alternative to the bomb doors Lantech use - where appropriate - a high-speed retractor belt. Once filled, the case is closed with self-adhesive tape or hot melt glue after which it leaves the machine.
