The perfect blend of size, performance and capacity Introducing the new Gilson GX-271 Liquid Handler, fundamental for automated purification systems, now available from Anachem. This versatile instrument offers a capability range suitable for both preparative and analytical-to-semi preparative applications in terms of liquid handling, sample injection and fraction collection. Along with its robust performance and small capacity the GX-271 is the perfect solution for small scale purification. The GX-271 boasts a large-bed capacity for injection and fraction collection vessels while consuming only 23’’ of linear bench space. Vessels over 200mm in height can be accommodated by the Z-arm with options for a fraction collection valve situated on the bottom of the Z-drive. Additionally the injection modules are capable of delivering flow rates of up to 200ml/min through the continuous flow path design accommodating large injection volumes up to 25ml, resulting in reduced sample waste and carryover. Featuring a revolutionary new solvent delivery system, the GX-271 demonstrates that syringes are no longer a necessity for varying volumes and flow rates as the innovative technology allows for a dynamic range of these variations due to the syringeless pumping system. The GX Analytical Solvent System is suited for nanoliter to µL volumes and the GX Preparative Solvent System is for µL to 100ml plus. With a new rinse station that incorporates a flowing jet wash; two different rinse stations can be used. The GX-271 is fully controlled under Gilson’s revolutionary purification software Trilution LC™ which is specifically designed for purification. It enables you to completely control your run and data whatever your results demand.
