Introducing the New Gilson Mini Centrifuge (GmCLab) Now you can quickly and easily spin down your samples right on your bench top with the new affordable, compact and reliable GmCLab mini centrifuge from Gilson. Available in the UK and Ireland, only from Anachem, GmCLab is comfortable to use with a transparent lid that fully opens to 160o enabling you to easily access your sample tubes. A simple pinch-type connector allows the rotor to be easily swapped in a few seconds without requiring any tools. This small, light and flat bench top design is easy to use, to move and store. Mixing is accomplished by placing a stirring bar that rotates under the influence of a magnetic field. LabStir is chemically compatible with most acids, bases and buffers, even with corrosive solutions. Its frictionless design with no moving parts helps prevent heat transfer to the solution even when mixing for a long time. With a high volume capacity of up to 800ml, a variety of containers can be used. LabStir offers an adjustable speed range of 15-1500 rpm, with either continuous stirring or alternatives with pauses between. Automatic reversal of rotation in direction every 30 seconds helps provide better mixing of solutions. The plates and chasing are made from chemically resistant materials making it easy to clean and decontaminate in the laboratory environment. New GVLab® Personal Mini Vortexer from Gilson Scientists can now have their own personal mini vortex mixer right at their work area that takes up only 9cm square of bench space. The Gilson GVLab, is a “touch-on” fixed speed vortex mixer that enables quick mixing of solutions or media contained in various formats of tubes or vials up to 30 mm (1.18 in.) in diameter. GVLab is robust and reliable, providing a vigorous and uniform vortexing of samples at 2800 rpm. GVLab starts mixing the solution in the tube when the pad is pressed down (Touch-on mode). The mixing motion continues as long as the pad remains pressed down. When the tube is removed, the GVLab automatically stops.
