Opto Diode Corporation (ODC) in Camarillo, California, established in 1981, now part of the ITW Group and incorporating the former Cal Sensors, supplies high-power infrared LEDs. ODC operates a state-of-the-art 50,000 square foot fabrication and packaging facility.

ODC offers standard and custom products falling into three key areas:

• Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs): Offering LEDs from 355nm to ~2000nm, including TO-style metal packages with a variety of wide-, medium - and narrow-beam outputs. Custom single- and multi-chip packages can be developed according to customer needs.
• Silicon Photodiodes: Standard visible and NIR-enhanced 1-42mm² photodiodes, standard detector-preamplifier hybrids combining large silicon detectors (5mm² or 6mm²) with powerful amplifiers and gain and speed configurations to fit various applications. Certain products offer sensitivity down to sub-nanometre wavelengths for direct electron and soft x-ray detection.
• IR Detectors and Emitters: Featuring PbS and PbSe detectors (1-5.5µm), cooled or uncooled versions and linear and quadrant detectors, and reliable thermal emitters for system integration. Designed for use with infrared detectors.
