Both versions use a foil filament of an Opto Diode specific material, designed to closely emulate the spectral distribution of a blackbody source. The SVF-series emitters are available in TO-5 or TO-8 packaging, with a variety of foil thicknesses and widths, and with a choice of window materials, to tailor the output to your wavelengths of interest. They also feature parabolic reflectors, resulting in near collimated and uniform radiation output.
SPF-series detectors are capable of fast pulse rates of up to 180Hz with 50% modulation depth.
