Ideal for applications including alignment marking, particle counting, and sensing, these lasers are mounted in TO-56 packages and use QD Laser’s unique front facet "window structure" technology which provides excellent resistance to Catastrophic Optical Damage (COD). QD Laser’s technology also prevents the sudden and unexpected laser failure that can occur as COD level reduces with diode aging.
