OtO Photonics' RedSparrow-Series is their latest MEMS grating-collimator micro spectrometers - bringing the size, performance and cost benefits of their Ultra Micro-Series technology to the near infrared band.
RedSparrow is incredibly compact at just 40 x 40 x 18mm ³ (<30cm ³), including the removable external control board, and yet the rigid metal package and optical bench provide excellent thermal, humidity and shock/vibration stability performance.
RS1680 uses the Hamamatsu G13913 128-pixel NIR InGaAs sensor for operation from 950nm to 1700nm (NIRA) or 900-1650nm (NIRB) with a FWHM Resolution of 9-15nm with a 50 µm slit. There are also plans to add other models to the RedSparrow range with higher pixel counts and improved resolution.
