LS-1800(E) – Exi Intrinsically Safe ATEX Level Switch

LS-1800(E) – Exi Intrinsically Safe ATEX Level Switch ATEX intrinsically safe version of the standard LS-1800 level switch. Excellent stability for general use in oils and water. With large float displacement, switch withstands rough service; suitable for high viscosity liquids. Intermediate in size, LS-1800 switches provide long life and dependability to meet a broad range of requirements. Principle When the magnetic field of permanent magnet inside the float is moved into to the proximity of the reed switch inside the stationary stem, the reed switch contacts “snap” together and closes the electrical circuit. When the magnetic field is moved away from the reed switch, the reed switch contacts move apart and the circuit is opened.
