Applied Pumps have shipped 6x gear pump sets for a dosing application on a manufacturing site in Africa! 6x Oberdorfer model N1000 gear pumps were supplied long coupled to special forced vent, Amco Marrelli electric motors. The N1000 gear pump is manufactured from Bronze making it perfect for the fluids being handled by this customer and the special motors enabled the pumps to be operated through a very large speed range without the risk of over heating. The pump sets were completed on time and included flexible couplings, guards and baseplates. Applied Pumps Ltd has been the UK distributor for Oberdorfer for many years and the gear pump range also includes models in stainless steel, Hastelloy and Ryton making them perfect for many fluids including water! Oberdorfer also manufacture a program of centrifugal and flexible vane pumps.
