In 2014 Argus Purchased Britannia ESD, a North West based BAFE accredited Fire Alarm company. This deal has doubled our fire alarm contract data base, and with this take over we employed a true fire alarm professional with over thirty years experience. Since the deal in April 2014 Argus has changed its trading name to Argus Fire and Security Ltd to secure its status in this growing market. After the deal had concluded in 2014, Argus were informed that the BAFE accreditation was issued only to the owner of Britannia and not the company, with this news Argus immediately started the process of accreditation and were proud to achieve BAFE approval in 2015.
