1/2inch Hose Union Below Ground

We have years of experience serving 1/2″ Hose Union Below Ground in the UK. Where a Standpipe is unsuitable, this below ground enclosure with hose union tap offers an inconspicuous alternative. The supply pipe is normally 750 mm below the surface. The telescopic enclosure facilitates installation at depths between 640 and 780 mm. A full-bore Servicing Valve is fitted inside the tube at the base. A conventional stop key can be used to isolate the supply. Access to the hose union tap is via a sturdy plastic lid, capable of withstanding 13 tonnes. The lid has a locking mechanism and a key supplied with each unit. A degree of frost protection is provided with thermal insulation and a frost resistant tap. During the winter, it is recommended that the Servicing Valve is shut and the tap left open.
