(45mm to 965mm). The scanner, which is held by chain links instead of magnetic wheels, is capable of inspecting ferromagnetic or non-ferromagnetic surfaces. The chain links also help ensure a straight displacement of the scanner by eliminating steering problems. It is also very useful when the area around the pipe is not completely accessible, as the scanner can be rotated by pulling on the chain links.
