The UV disinfection Eco-line system installed at Rand Waters Zuurbekom pumping station is capable of treating up to 800 m3/hr of potable drinking water. Additionally UV will provide protection against chemically resistent micro-organisms such as Cryptosporidium without the use of additional chemicals, vastly improving the quality of the water.
