Something for everyone

Seating areas are a key part of public developments, and picking the right product for your space is important. AUTOPA manufactures benches and seats to fit seamlessly into any development, but with such a selection on offer, how do you know which is right for you?
Seat or Bench (and what’s the difference)?
The first decision you need to make is, do you want a seat or a bench? Seats are manufactured with a back support, whilst benches aren’t.
Which material?
Galvanised steel. Most of AUTOPA open spaces’ seats and benches are manufactured from galvanised steel as standard. This hardwearing material will look good on any site for many years and can be colour coated to match any existing schemes you already have. It’s ideal for busy environments, where the seating will be in regular use, such as playgrounds and parks.
Stainless steel. Stainless steel has a classic, flawless finish and is perfect for aesthetically driven sites, like offices and shopping centres. For coastal installations we can provide Marine Grade 316 stainless steel, which will keep its shine even in the salty sea air.
Wood. Wood provides an attractive, natural finish to any seating space, and is perfect for use in gardens and parks. We use high quality Iroko wood, which has a naturally long lifespan and is easy to maintain.
What’s your style?
Our seating products are designed in styles to suit any site. From the sleek straight edges of the Caldecott range, to the flowing curves of the Rockingham seat and bench, there’s something for everyone.
If you’re looking for a traditional style; try the Triton. After something more contemporary? The Chatham Bench is perfect.
Adding arms?
Arm rests are available either as standard, or as an optional extra on most of the AUTOPA open spaces seats and benches.
