Avelair gains Suffolk Carbon Charter Bronze

Avelair are happy to annouce that we have been accredited with the Suffolk Carbon Charter Bronze Award for sustainable and being an environmentally friendly business. The team have implemented a number of energy reduction projects including installation of double glazing, upgrading two cars from diesel driven to electric, and moving across to a Green energy supplier. The Carbon Charter is awarded to organisations that are monitoring and reducing their carbon emissions. It is intended to provide public recognition of this vital step to our shared goal of Creating the Greenest County. The Carbon Charter is a local scheme run by Groundworks and the Suffolk County Council to recognise businesses that are monitoring and reducing their carbon emissions. Our aim is to continue reducing our emmissions and we will then be auditted again with the hope to gain the Silver Award. We are also working closely with Positive Planet who are completing a full company emissions analysis and with a plan to move to carbon neutral. We will keep you up to date as we continue along this journey in carbon reduction.
