GREAT SUCCESS IN OUR HCE22 FLO-MOTION CHARITY COMPETITION

Axis Entrance Systems were back at Healthcare Estates 2022 showcasing our range of door and entrance solutions, including an interactive display of our proprietary Flo-Motion system on telescoping and single sliding doors. We wanted to give patrons of HCE22 the opportunity to engage with us and learn more about our Flo-Motion technology by running a competition, with prize money available for the two winners chosen charities. To do this, when we constructed the display, both the Flo-Motion single sliding and telescopic doors were each force tested 3 times. The mean average of the readings were recorded and patrons were invited to guess the reading for each doorset. The participation was far more successful than we imagined with 112 entrants and lots of incredibly close guesses. As promised, the two winners received their donations for two very worth charities. First, Ged Couser (BPD) was the closest to the recorded result of 9.9N with 9.5N for the Flo-Motion F12 single sliding door. Providing respite and end-of-life care to more than 450 children and young people across the North West, Ged nominated Derian House Children’s Hospice to receive a £100 charity donation from us. Nominating Ruben’s Fund who are raising donations in memory of little boy, Ruben, who sadly died in January 2022 at just three and a half months old, due to Dilated Cardiomyopathy, Simon Whittles (Bam Construction Ltd) answered perfectly with 9.2N for the T55 telescopic door. We wish both truly inspirational charities every success in their future fund-raising efforts.
