Flo Motion Doors

Flo Motion Doors Recirculating ball guides on a specific low resistance linear track with a damper mechanism are used in Flo-Motion® doors. The door sets are made of extruded aluminium profiles and come with a self-supporting 'goalpost' frame. Four outstanding honours have been bestowed to Flo-Motion® sliding doors. First, there was the 2015 Construction North Award for Innovation from Laing O'Rourke, followed by the 2015 Product Innovation Award from IHEEM. This was followed by the Building Better Healthcare Best Internal Building Product in 2015 and the European Healthcare Design Award for Innovation for Quality Improvement in 2016. During the design stage, the Constructor was given specific care so that the installation process benefitted all parties, especially since the sliding panel is likely to be the final element of the door set to be installed. The pre-assembled frame, which includes the transom support for the track system, may be installed during the first fix stage, allowing other trades to finish the walls and floors before installing the panels.
