As well as using a top of the range 3D scanner, here at B.E.C we use a Fusion F410 3D Printer to aid in prototyping and design. Where traditional injection moulding prototyping can be complex and costly, a 3D printed model can be produced in a matter of minutes; it can then be tested and altered until the design is suitable for injection moulding.
The range of thermoplastics used in 3D printing is huge and growing to include recycled materials and flexible filaments. Commonly used plastics include ABS, PLA, PET, nylon and polypropylene, providing a variety of properties and finishes. Speak to our friendly team for details.
