Baker Perkins Inc. appoints VP of Sales and Marketing

Dwight Wagaman has been appointed VP of Sales and Marketing for Baker Perkins Inc. at Grand Rapids, MI. The company is North America’s leading supplier of equipment and services for the manufacture of cookies, crackers, biscuits and pet food; Dwight will be focusing on business development of Baker Perkins’ products and capabilities. Much of Dwight’s career has concentrated on business development and strategic planning. He joins Baker Perkins from Electro-Matic Products, a Siemens affiliate, where he was Business Development Manager. Previous experience since graduating from Western Michigan University with a BS in Industrial Engineering included nine years with Rockwell Automation, where he came into contact with Baker Perkins equipment and customers. He also spent four years with Siemens. Baker Perkins is the successor to the Dutch Cookie Machine Co., founded in Grand Rapids in 1904. The company has been designing and manufacturing wirecuts, rotary moulders and ovens ever since: it joined the Baker Perkins organization in 1978.
