This beautiful construction is 10.5 metres in length. The main part of the building is an Endless Pool® room with the pool itself - delivered by our friends at Possible Pools - partly set into the ground. The rest allows the owners to enjoy the luxury of a hot tub. The Project This contemporary combination garden room with a canopy was designed to create a new home for a hot tub as well as an endless pool, which our clients have been able to enjoy during lockdown. The finishings are in a light pebble grey, which makes a pleasant difference from our usual dark grey. The fully completed project from base and building with electrics will provide the family with relaxing and recreation space all year round. Rather than adding a changing room inside, a simple curtain rail is a clever way to add the option of privacy when changing without compromising on indoor space. The Work This is a beautiful construction that is a total of 10.5 metres in length. The main part of the building is an Endless Pool® – delivered by our friends at Possible Pools – partly set into the ground. As well as being able to relax in the Endless Pool®, our clients also use it to keep fit by setting a pace and swimming against the current. Most of the internal walls were made 'wetroom ready' while the windows were colour matched in Pebble Grey with MTX cladding. This meant we could offer our unique 10-year guarantee. For the doors, we installed an in-line aluminium slider. The site of the building was less than two metres from the boundary allowing us to build up to 2.5 metres in height under permitted development. At one end of the construction, we created a canopy above a hot tub enabling the space to be used all year round. Cleverly concealed at the back of this section are the pump system for the pool and all the chemicals, electrics and cleaning equipment the family need to keep things running smoothly. Nobody would know they were there. The Result "Finding a suitable building to house an Endless Pool had proved very difficult until we came across Bakers and visited their show buildings at Haywards Heath. Martin Baker showed us around and explained the pros and cons of all the buildings and options - no hard sell, just a pleasant chat.
