Downholder with Disc Springs

Description Ideal to place, compress or insert workpieces before riveting or forming. A large force range is possible, depending on the chosen spring pack. With coil springs, a very compact but open design is possible. Disk springs offer very high forces, within a closed housing. ▪ For high forces ▪ To join or to pretension before the riveting ▪ Pretension forces of the hold-down device are client specific, up to 20 kN possible ▪ Steep characteristics ▪ Pieces are manufactured corresponding to the workholder ▪ Note: A retrofit may need replacing the length of the forming tool, the form tool holder, and the pressure cup.
