The new tabletop BS 32 – 50, is similar to the BS 24 – 40 in appearance but with a full -32 (DN 50) 4SH capacity is probably the most cost-effective machine available for the larger hose user.
The 'snap in' radially closing dies provide over 30mm clearance when the machine dies are fully open, allowing access for most bent stems and other manipulated fittings.
Extra dies are also available to provide a more comprehensive range where required. A wide range of one-piece flared type dies and other special-purpose dies are also available if required.
The direct reading micrometre type gauge allows rapid setting of the powerful 100 tonne, double acting fully enclosed ram that is capable of providing a massive 370 tonnes when expressed as a radial compressive effort on the dies.
The push button controls include an automatic stop facility at the preset size.
To reduce maintenance downtime to a minimum, all the modular 'plug in' components such as the setting gauge, hydraulic control valve and related solenoids, can be removed for servicing purposes and replaced in minutes.
Optional quick change tooling is available.
