Tamper Evident Labelling of Folding Boxes

From February 2019, all drug and pharmaceutical packaging for prescription drugs from the EU must have an original seal as a security feature. The basis for this is the EU Directive 2011/62 / EU, which was passed in 2011. Sealing labels are suitable for tamper-evident labeling of folding boxes. Sealing labels are applied to the tuck-in flaps of the folding box and its body so that they are connected to one another.The labels must be applied to the folding box in such a way that approx. Half of the label is applied to the flap and the other half to the body. A high degree of precision is required here, as sealing labels are mostly small label formats. From a business point of view, the manufacturer uses common round or square labels.
